Song of India “by artist Karen Knorr
The British publishing house Skira Editore has released a luxurious gift album with the photographic series “The Song of India” (India Song) by London-based photographer Karen Knorr.
The “Song of India” series, created in 2008 while traveling in Northern India, refers to this “fabled” period. This colorful series, filmed with a Sinar widescreen camera and reminiscent of Robert Polidori’s Versailles project (Robert Polidori) and works by Massimo Listri, certainly goes to the allegorical world of the ancient Indian epic Ramayana and Aesop’s fables.
